Homicide Victim Of Double Stabbing In Shippensburg ID'd: PA State Police

Someone has been killed, and another person was hospitalized following a double stabbing, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday morning, Oct. 28.

The report of two people being stabbed in the first block of North Washington Street in Shippensburg came into PSP at 10 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, as detailed in the release.

The fatal victim was identified on Monday afternoon as Christopher Nunn II of San Antonio, Texas, PSP announced in an updated release. 

Troopers arrived to find one victim killed and the other suffering from life-threatening injuries. The surviving victim was taken to Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center.

This death is being investigated as a homicide but "there is no threat to the public," troopers said.

The names of the victims have not yet been released, as the next of kin have yet to be notified at the time of publishing.
